    Menopause and Midlife

Dr Mandy Deeks and Dr Liz FarrellThere is little doubt that hot flushes and vaginal changes can be directly linked to the hormonal changes of menopause. In our second presentation the Jean Hailes Foundation for Women's Health experts show there is now an understanding that the experience of menopause is linked to what else is happening in a woman’s life at the same time as these physical changes.

Dr Liz Farrell and Dr Mandy Deeks look at things like depression, anxiety, mood swings and low libido as well as the physical, psychological, cultural and social factors that can impact on the experience of menopause in "A Bio-Psychosocial look at Menopause and Midlife".
